I have WinXP Pro SP1 with two users.

1) Admin
2) Limited user

I would like to limit the Limited user's access to some programs. How would I go about doing this?

For example, I want AIM not accessible to the Limited user but available to Admin.

i dont think you can set this up with windows, it was really not designed to be a true multi user os. Maybe with third party tools you can set this sort of thing up.

Why not just change the permissions of the directory containing the programs you don't want normal users to be able to run.

You could set a certain directory to be only readable by admins.

Bingo, make sure you aren't in simple file sharing mode or you won't be able to do this.
