Used IBook Price

A friend at school has an IBook that is approximately 1 year old. He said it is 800mhz, 128ram, and has a 12" screen. He is willing to sell, but is not in dire need.

How much should I offer him?
 
Not much, since Apple just introduced the 1ghz 12" iBooks with 256mb of ram, at the same price as the 800mhz 12" 128 mb of ram were at two days ago!
 
if his system is a year old it will be a G3 and not a G4 like they are now so they are a different beast...also considering you can get a refurbed ibook 800 with a new 1 year warranty directly from apple for $650 I wouldn't go ANY higher than that
 
Alright thanks, I don't think he will let it go for under 600, and I was thinkin about $500 actually. So... ill wait until I have some money for a new IBook
