Hello,
I'm just setting up my new rig, I've got an Asus P5E3, Q6600, Thermalright U120extreme, Cosmos S case, Mist PSU 600w (you've probably not heard of Mist but it's a brand based on CWT/Fortron, it's got good reviews here, it's norwegian from a store specializing in overclocking parts, etc)
When I started it for the first time the USB over current status detected will reboot in 15 seconds message appeared.
I checked the front panel and back panel USB and firewire connections to the motherboard, took them out and plugged them in again and fired up again.
And the message was gone.
I've probably just hooked a cable up wrong the first time then, or?
Seems to be running fine now, voltages look normal also
Also the temperature of the Q6600 (GO) is at 23C now, idle, not overclocked. Is this normal with this cooling? fan is running at 1300RPM according to bios. Have I perhaps place the fan in the wrong direction?
Motherboard (northbridge?) seems to be at 27C
Thank you in advance for any help
