we had one a while back. It didn't work out very well. Kyle got rid of it. Some people started it back up again. It's now at genmay.com. Take it there.

No, I support a war that makes sense (obviously not this one), where we dont literally demolish 2 countrys in a record time of 1 and 1/2 years. Nice job finding those weapons of mass destruction, seems the most we got out of that was a new favorite phrase and a porno entitled "weapons of ass destruction".

Tell me one thing Kerry has a plan on? He can say all day long that we need to do this or stop doing this, but a flip-flopping, american vet hating commie has no place in the White House or in the U.S...
 
for the love of the future, please don't vote for bush.

if there was no war, name some things he did good? its hard to. bush is good at "smoke and mirrors" type of gov't. he either

A. creates unfunded programs such as the leave no child left behind act
or
B. cuts programs and funding, then introduces new programs with less funding such as the prescription card.

if kerry gets john edwards, we would have a good 4 years, kerry on his own will be maybe a little better then bush but at least we would have a president that talks intelligent and maybe debates and thinks about issues before pushing them out the door.

i don't want to go on about the leave no child left behind act. but instead of tests that don't make students smarter... we need to have more efficient schools with budget control and 15 students per 1 teacher classrooms (smaller class sizes).

regardless of who is in power, i think the government needs a beaucracy overhaul. there are large sums of tax money spent on overpriced projects, overpriced goods/services, and uneffective agencies. look at your children or your own schools. how much do they pay for computers, or mouse pads, or paper? its a joke. instead of biddign out to the most efficient yet quality firms they sign several year long contracts with companies that can monopolize their prices. why should a school pay 800$ for a 15" crt monitor when they only costs 75$ or less? why does the white house pay 1000$ for each mouse pad? why does are gov't have agencies that let energy companies monopolize their communities by reducing supply and increasing prices? theres alot of issues people need to look into greater then who is in power... stuff that needs to be done now to save the future.

sure, maybe our taxes are high.. but alot of it is due to inneficiencies of our gov't and without fixing them someone will have to raise taxes again. why not crackdown on the people that jobs produce no outcomes for their highly paid salaries?

But since it is not, I will just stick with the one I have now: " I'm supporting John Kerry...until I vote against him. " :D
 
I'd vote for a guy with Turrets before I voted for Bush. But then again, who WOULDNT vote for Mr. Turrets, he'd make the speeches so fun and entertaining to watch.

Why do people insist on taking time to post their views on a board where the people who read it won't care what others think. This is NOT a debate. and besides, the extra dollar out of kerry's pocket won't hurt him if you sign up a bunch, his wife's rich.
 
this is the difference between the two parties:

Lets say that their is a grafitti problem in your local town.

The republicans get together, state the problem, hear out possible solutions, vote, pick one, and stick with it. And solve the problem. When they don't, they try another situation.

The Democrats all get together, agree that this is a good way to help poor people, create civillian and gvt jobs to get people off the streets, catch the people that did it, get them help, put them through college, all at the same time. Great idea, huh? except that they fund it by taxing YOU through the wazoo. What they do is they create a federally funded branch of gvt called the Insert Your Local Town Here Graffitti Prevention And Awareness Commission, create various subcommitties, create hundreds of jobs that they pay for with your salary. Then, people become corrupt, the committie is getting sidetracked, its going nowhere, and grafitti rises. Next, due to all the corruption, the gvt has to investigate, and once again funds the investigation with another tax increase. After they find that the comittie is pointless, and come to the conclusion that it must be shut down, they do nothing about it until the next election, when lo and behold the republicans come into power. Then the republicans have to lay off all the people, abolish the comittie, and fix the problem, which creates a reccession in the town, and get blamed for everything.

Now obviously this is not realistic to a T but I didn't mean it to be. Im making a point. The bleeding-heart liberals aren't bad people, except for bill clinton and several bad apples. They just are way too naive. They look at a minor graffitti situation and think of it as a way to get people off the streets, create jobs, feed homeless, save the world, etc. In theory its great. WHen you try to put it into practice it sucks. Kinda like communism.


the other thing that pisses me off about the liberals is how they dont seem to realize something...the effect of a president very often does not come until the term after. For example, look at the 9/11 situation. the liberals are trying to pin it on bush any way they can, while neglecting to admit that bin-laden was offered to Clinton on a silver platter and he declined him, although he was on the wanted list. If clinton had gotten bin laden, terrorist attacks in general may not have stopped, but 9/11 wouldn't have happened, the recession that we WERE in (i say WERE because right now the economy is experiencing some of the greatest growth in decades, manufacturing employment is at a 30 year high and home ownership is at an ALL time high. Unemployment is 5.something percent, which is very, very good. Reagen in fact was elected with a similar unemployment rate.) would not have happened, and we would all be for the better. The republicans always have to clean up the liberals mess.
