upgrading to Docsis 3.1 and ax router

Comcast Monthly bill Went up to $236, modem rental, living room receiver, 1 bed room receiver, HBO, Starz/Encore, Sports channel are whats in the package. Before 2018, it was $206. I’m getting rid of the rental and want the latest and greatest. something that will last a couple of years and also want to upgrade my router. What docsis 3.1 modem would you recommend?

Also, are the AX router worth waiting for? Appreciate the help. Can’t wait to turn this Comcast stuff in and negotiate a lower price.
