Upgrading ram in the MBA

I'm looking to purchase my first Mac computer soon as a secondary machine. I have my eyes on the 11 inch version Macbook Air with 2GB of memory. How hard is it to upgrade the ram in this machine? Thanks!

its on the motherboard unless they changed something. you cant upgrade it.

Build it custom on the website, you can't upgrade the SSD or DRAM once built.

I built mine w/ a 64 GB SSD (minor regret, though i'm not having disk space issues yet), and 4 GB RAM (GLAD I DID)

A friend of mine works at a hospital and they are getting MBAs to test with and due to HIPAA they need to low level format all drives on computers at times. Did some research and found you can upgrade the MBA SSD but not the ram.

It uses a SATA-LIF connector

I just checked the apple store, you can't upgrade the ram after purchase. You have to buy the Air already factory configured with either 2 or 4GB of ram......suks
