Im looking to tweak my current PC without spending a fortune. I have a Dell 8400 with a P4 630 cpu, 2gb of ddr2 533 and an ATI X800XL. I know you cant throw a new mobo in the Dell case (or can you?) but i was thinking of getting an Abit AA8 mobo and a new case/PSU and swapping everything else over. That way, i can overclock the P4 to maybe 3.6 (from 3.0) if i get a good cooler and get some extra life out of my system.

I guess my question is will i see a nice difference when i OC the P4 and is it worth the $250 i would spend on a new mobo/case? If i could install a non dell mobo in the 8400 that would save me a lot of $$ too :)

you can NOT put a non-dell mobo in a dell case and dell also makes their owen PSU's so they will not fit any aftermarket mobo's.

you would need a new case, mobo and psu to OC it.
