Upgrade from Logitech z-5300

Ive had my Logitech z-5300 for about three years now and they still work great however im finding myself looking for an upgrade. I was checking out the z906 but have heard negative things about them. I was also thinking of purchasing a Svs pb1000 to pair with the satelittes until I can afford a decent bookshelf set. Can anybody make me some suggestions. Thanks!

I love my z906 - I just wish it had an HDMI input. Of course, I got them with a 50% off coupon from Logitech a couple years ago.

I couldn't find anything similar without going to a stand alone receiver. I have my PC hooked up to the analog inputs, and my Xbox One / PS4 / Tivo Mini going through an HDMI switch with an TOSLink out.

get a pair of good 2.0 speaker, then a sub if you felt its not enough

z5300 and z5500 are widely regarded as significantly better than z906. If they're working great then keep em.

monitor audio bronze 2, and wharfedale diamond 220/225. 225 has 6.5" driver, you might not need sub
