Updated MSI x99 Bios for Spectre/Meltdown, vcore fixed at 1.285 now?

So I updated my MSI MOBO BIOS for the security fix.. made the adjustments for my OC and went about my business. System runs fine at 4.4Ghz just like before updates.. throttles down to 1.2ghz when idle.. but the vcore sticks at 1.285 instead of dropping as well. CPU is under water and runs cool.. but the vcore used to drop accordingly at idle as well. Am I missing a setting?

check your bios for different settings or clear your bios and redo your settings. start there.
