I figured it was a ways out, but still looking forward to it. Being CD Projekt I can believe when it does come out it's going to be mindblowing!

I was referring to why you likely have no heard any information about it nor will likely for some time. Right now promotional focus of course would be The Witcher 3.

They just chose to announce Cyberpunk 2077 before The Witcher 3. I'm wondering if this might have been to avoid being "typedevelopered" (not really sure what to use here as the equivalent of typecasting) as the Witcher development studio.

Project Eternity
Wasteland 2
Witcher 3
Chaos Chronicles
Torment: ToN
Grim Dawn

That's going to be some fun shit!

What's crazy is that half of these are Kickstarted. I wonder if publishers are feeling the pressure yet?

I know Sony and Nintendo are seeing the benefits. The PS4 and Wii U have relaxed game application methods to allow kickstarter games much easier routes to bring their games to the market.

GOG and Steam are making it pretty easy, too. So is, from what I hear, Amazon.

I didn't know that--that's badass!

Yeah, Nintendo is now allowing games to be posted without any publishers and they got rid of their stupid minimum sales requirement. Now they're actively seeking indie developers, distributing compatibility software for Unity and stuff like that.

I heard Sony was making drastic changes too, but I don't know the details.
