UP2414Q - DP 1.2 - Lower resolutions gone

Interesting if anyone else has noticed this on their 4k displays.

Not sure if this changed with a driver change or not, but anytime I have the monitor setup in 1.2 mode and I can't go lower than 2048x768. If I turn off DP 1.2 on the monitor I can do any lower resolution.

I've done a few different drive installs and no dice. It's not that big ofg an issue but just wondering.
 
Anyone else have this happen to them? This is getting annoying now with the remote game streaming available on my nvidia shield.
