Best Dell deal I have seen in a few months. 25% off some Inspiron Laptops, plus free shipping. 2 weeks ago it was only $160 instant rebate.

I configured a $2,730 E1705 and got ~$705 off, leaving me with a $2,025 machine with free shipping and handling. Also, my dad gets a corporate discount from his company (an additional 12% off), so I ended up paying $1730ish plus $191 tax, and got away with a $2,800 system for under $2,000 shipped to my door. One could safely say I'm happy with my new college laptop.

I have no idea when the offer ends, because Dell never tells. It's just "Limited Time Only!"

Dell's deals have really sucked for a quite a while... I miss the days of buying a $1700 E1505 for $800 and that E1705 I have for $900 which was normally $2k. I miss having laptops for 6mnths and selling them for the same price I PAID 6mnths later just to buy something new again with pretty much the same money. Free upgrades rocked, the E1505 to E1705 I even swapped the hard drives out so I didn't have to reinstall anything.
