uniden VOIP phone, can sum1 tell me how it works?

I believe it has a VOIP Telephone adaptor built in that you'll have to register with your VOIP provider.

According to uniden.com the same model (or is it?) is used with packet8 voip service

My suggestion is get whatever VOIP service you want, use there hardware and wire it into your existing phone lines in the house ( not as complicated as it sounds) you can even check out the support sections of your selected provider for detailed instructions.
