Unable to share network drives with computers in the same workgroup

Trying to share an entire drive from PC1 (Note: there is no password on this pc, it just boots into windows) with PC2 (Note: also boots into windows)

It "says": you do not have permission to access "x" contact network administrator.

I am able to share the drive if I put a password on PC1 and enter it via PC2 but I like to have my computers boot straight into windows when I start up. Is there a way around this or am I stuck?

You need a user profile to connect with. Your local account won't work on the remote machine where the share drive is.

Oh, and there is a setting somewhere where you can select to boot straight to an account. I think you have to disable the switching users feature though.
