Un-Epic

Definitely a gem of a game; well worth the price of admission. Found it on Gamer's Gate a few months back. Pretty much one of the best "metroidvania" clones I've seen in a while. The end boss scenario is a bit ridiculous too.

The art style and lighting effects are solid and there's no glaring issues - the interface does take a little getting used to though.

I believe it never got hosted on Steam due to the blatant naming of Blizzard characters and storylines (I believe he addresses the main quest giver as Zeratul constantly for one). Who knows the real reason though - it's on Greenlight last I checked.
 
Yes, played it some time ago... it's very fun and enjoyable.
The Steam rejection... I read that it was because of some adult language.
