Ukraine Ukraine Ukraine!

panhead, bankruptcy isn't always a bad thing, sometimes it's as simple as moving all your debt into a single account and working out a payment plan. Simply saying "he filed bankruptcy for his companies 8 times" doesn't mean a whole lot on it's own.

No false statements, Trump's companies have filed bankruptcies six times. I would say that makes him really good at bankrupting. When Congress and the President are from the same party, there is no overriding.
Cutting taxes and increasing federal spending is a recipe for disaster. Annual Federal deficit is over 1Trillion.

Power of the Purse belongs to Congress. Not the PoTUS. Your anecdotal statement regarding the small number of bankruptcies filed compared to the sheer number of diversive ventures taken, to try and place a century's worth of shitty government statist operating procedure solely on his shoulders shows your lack of truly understanding that real policy maker is Congress, itself. This is no different than what the small faction of butthurt extremists on the very far right constantly blamed Obama for, when Congress did some really shady shit (e.g.: ACA "We have to pass it to find out what's in it").

But hey, let's apply that shoulder-the-blame logic here:. Since the US Agencies involved in tracking and apprehending these Ukranian cybercrimimals happened during Trump's presidency, then Trump should get every drop of credit, right?

POTUS can veto Congress spending bill.
Small number of bankruptcies, larger number of failed business/ventures.
Too bad if the US government becomes insolvent, we can't just walk away from the debts and start over. Trump likes to push the envelope and take risks, but failure can be disastrous for the country.

Don't worry, by the end of Trump's presidency there will be many disasters he will receive credit for.

But are we hacking Russian elections?
Oh wait, they don't really have any, do they? Not really.

It would actually be hilarious to hack them and make someone beat Putin. He would be like WTF just happened. Heads would roll.

Congress can override a PoTUS veto. They are solely the ones that make and refine bills that go to PoTUS for signing. PoTUS has fuck all to do with making bills, so any risks taken in legislation is because Congress is designing and passing those risks in the form of bills, which is why I'm a fan of bringing back the Line Item Veto.
