I'm setting up a test environment to test a new imaging software. I'm using Ubuntu with 2 nics, 1 nic for Internet, and the other to a switch. I have successfully setup the dhcp service, however cannot connect to the web on client PCs. I have not dealt with network setups for 12years or so, sorry if I'm slow.

It was my understanding that all I have to do is set the Gateway of the dhcp to the ip address of the nic connected to the web, and client PCs would have Internet access. This however does not appear to be the case. What am I doing wrong?

Client PCs are assigned correct IP address and see each other, but don't receive Internet.

My Setup: Internet --> Dhcp Controller -> Client Computer

dhcp nic:
IP: 192.168.0.2
Gateway: 192.168.2.5

Internet nic:
IP: 192.168.2.5

(I can ping 192.168.2.5 from the client PCs)

Thanks,
