And it would be equally sad if those fast food workers suffered from depression and committed suicide. I just don't see the amount of money someone made as being particularly relevant here. Going home to a fancy house/car/TV/etc does very little to assuage feelings of depression and anxiety, despite advertising constantly telling you buying their products is the key to happiness. You could ask "what does he have to be depressed about?" which is valid question if you only think about things logically, but the person with depression/anxiety/etc isn't thinking logically or rationally. That's pretty much the definition of mental illness. This forum/site is all about trivial first world problems. Discussions and arguments about which multi-national corporation makes better GPUs/CPUs. People complaining their encoding times or framerates are too low. People complaining about game bugs, etc. The battery on their phone doesn't last long enough. Apple removed a headphone jack. I'd rather have any of those "problems" than suffer from debilitating depression and anxiety, but I'm still going to complain about all that trivial stuff too.
