Twitch Desktop App for Windows 10 and MacOS Now Available

    You can now reach Twitch without a web browser: the live streaming platform has debuted its desktop app for both Windows 10 and MacOS, which gives gamers access to everything they know and love, plus a ton of exclusive tools. Features include a “dark mode” for a gloomier UI, as well as the ability to video chat with friends directly through the app.

    It makes finding and buying games easier which is nice. I hope it becomes a real Steam competitor soon! Competition is good for everybody.

    Just installed it I think it has better picture quality than the browser version.

    No autocomplete on @-ing people in chat. No spell correction. Can't message people directly. The browser with BetterTwitchTV is superior right now.

    It does work with Windows 8.1 so you might want to fix your post.

    Well at least Twitch is a 3rd party (Amazon) and not a publisher (mostly, I know they have some games), so that should help out those anti-Origin and UPlay folks. Though I have no problem with them since they give me free games from time to time.
