    LOL, wtf.

The idea that people throw money at her is just insane. It's like a pg-13 cam-whore show, and the only reason it's PG-13 is because of the language.

I guess Anita is proud that the gaming community has people like her to represent women

And you, being enlightened, would never be so closed-minded. Right?

Bravo twitch. You really can't win with these people, though. If you're a man who likes looking at boobs, you're exhibiting offensive privilege and sexism. "We're more than objects!" "Stop objectifying women!" "It's my body and I have the right to show it off wherever and whenever I want, but you don't have the right to give me any attention. Unless you're really cute!"

Yet, woe unto the private institution which makes rules about sexually provocative clothing. Of course any limitation anywhere on females using or showing their bodies is "wrong". Except prostitution, that should be illegal because "it opresses women". Wait, what?

How many logical inconsistencies can third-wave victim feminism possibly have? If, as they shrilly claim, they want to be judged on merit and not on their physical attributes, one would think they would welcome this decision.

You somehow interpreted that comment as a necessary endorsement of the hypothetical objector's opinion. Consider reading it again slowly if you care about understanding that actual point.

Twitch is acting rationally and cannot risk it's image, especially now that Amazon owns it. Twitch is meant to be a platform for streaming games, not selling sex. Twitch/Amazon does not want the value they create being from sex, it's meant to come from the ability to connect with others and watch games being played. Allowing this type of stuff jeopardizes shareholder value, twitch does not exist for viewers and streamers to have fun, it's primary reason for existing is to make money, they are not some gaming related charity.

Where the fuck do you think the money comes from? A lot of it is these girls that play games.

The real money is in the audience which you can advertise and cross sell to. The subscription cut isn't much in comparison.

Because people watching a girl play games are somehow less valuable then other people watching someone play Minecraft for 12 hours a day?

    Thanks twitch.

twich say the only thing you're allowed to stream is games. No building PCs, no youtube stuff, games.

when some users put the games in 10% of the available screen, off to the side. and their chests in 80%, and donations in the other 10% theres a problem.

A girl playing is fine, someone acting like a cam whore is not from a shareholder value perspective. Amazon doesn't want to own an adult site, it alienates too many partners and tarnishes perception of the brand.

Well okay...silly - (not that I advocate it, but) seriously, it's sad to watch people try to do it. Old people, young people, pretty much anyone. Stuff wiggles around, there's stupid facial expressions, weird and painful looking positions, and all that animal grunting. If you wanna laugh at something, that'd be the thing to see except that it's also the most depressing thing because...

Pointless - Does it every fix anything to have it? Not really, it complicates interpersonal interaction. People who do it end up wanting more later so it doesn't fix the dumb biological urge. Children might be fun (or at least we tell ourselves that and are kinda wired to like them because stuff would end badly otherwise) but they're expensive and there's really no reason to pass on genetics to another generation so they can further mess things up.

Gross - Do you even need to ask? Most people, I mean the vast majority of people on the planet are pretty much unattractive, disgusting, or have some freakish fetish for something deviant (I'm not even going to think about listing them, but anyone who's been around a college campus probably knows what I'm talking about.) Besides it being what equates to a sweaty, obese wreck of whale-kin colliding with each other, there's all that...liquid-ish material and diseases. Ugh!

Also, from what I've heard sex doesn't really mean much for relationships versus friendships between some people. But I wouldn't know, I try to stay out of the blubber-bounce castle as much as possible.

Anything that shuts down these "im a girl gamer now focus the camera on my tits" streams is awesome in my book.

In fact i want to go back to the first guy that decided his game stream needed his fucking face in a box over the game and punch him right in the dong.

This girl also used to be a cam girl on porn sites. There are videos out there that prove it, not that I have seen them ;)

I for one enjoy watching cute female streamers. Wtf is wrong with wearing a bikini top that we can all easily see outside at the beach or a pool? seems silly to ban for it imo.

Would it really matter at all what I said? I mean, this is the interwebs so I can't see why it'd make a difference.

This is for my own curiosity. I'm not asking to argue a point or be rude.

My assumption based on your comments, is that you either haven't or you haven't in the context of a relationship you don't regret having. Alternatively you may be asexual.

Again, not trying to be insulting.

I promise it's a very uninteresting subject and not worth discussing. Though I do have enough personal experience to know that I don't want to have any involvement in it anymore and [H] has enough drama on it already so explaining why isn't going to happen.

Because twitch doesn't want to degrade itself to another Stickam. They are the biggest GAME stream service around. If you want tits then go to cam sites, we don't need brainless females doing stupid shit for viewer service. I hate coming to twitch only to see the top 10 streamers are a bunch of attention whores with their tits out.

Although I already follow my favorite streamers so this doesn't even apply to me, I don't even care anymore.

It's not a matter of showing cleavage it's a matterf of that cleavage being the only thing these whores offer.

That pretty much sums it up. Twitch doesn't exactly want people going to twitch.com, checking out streams, and seeing nothing but cleavage and idiots who know nothing about the game they're playing.

I personally can't sit for an extended period of time and watch a streamer on twitch, or even regularly watch them. I do however go there every once in a blue moon to check out gameplay. What I'm not interested in is cleavage(I can get real porn elsewhere if that's what I'm after), or the "thanks for the sub, thanks for the donation, thanks soandso the biggest donator of the day!!!!" because that crap is annoying regardless of whether the person streaming is male or female.

Nothing, until they start claiming to be pro gamers. They are cam whoring, period. The vast majority of their viewers are there for one reason only. There are other websites for that. There are plenty of "cute" female gamers who are actually good at the game, entertaining and dress themselves. They are far more worthy of your support.

As a note, unsurprisingly the cam whores have lost a significant chunk of viewers.

I think they are more worried about it becoming a bigger issue, similar to the feminist bruhaha that's currently going on about the 'no nipple' policy on instagram. They are upset that the rules apply to them, but not men. Thus why they were quick to point out their sexually suggestive rule applies to both men and women.

The sub hype thing streamers do is to generate revenue. I don't really mind as most don't distract from gameplay but having a little pop-up box with the donators name is a great idea. It gives people an incentive to donate so they can get their 15 seconds of fame.
