TWC to Vivint Wireless Internet

I was asking about Vivint wireless internet a while back and I went ahead and made the jump, check it out, upload is insane. I will run some more speedtest runs at another time. Speeds are bouncing around a bit, I am curious why so much fluctuation though.

Wow, that's fixex wireless then mesh from there? That's awesome. Are you a hub home?

That being said, your upload will vary depending on how many other users are on your sector. Typically WISP's use hardware with TDMA to make it so each user has a consistent upload performance, but they usually limit to no more than 5 or 10 mbit. That being said, wide open you will see some degradation in upload speed as others start to use their Internet because of the added timeslots created for the upload.

It could also depend on their backhaul capacity.
