Tw Computers - Nvidia Drivers Mysteriously removed?

Anyone experience anything where the Nvidia drivers just all of a sudden are uinstalled?

I have two PCs (one with a 1060 and one with a 960) and both in the last 3 days I had to mysteriously just reinstall the drivers (I was at no drives and the standard 800x600) and no sign of any of the Nvidia drivers on there..

does Geforce Experience somehow try to update without approval?

Windows 10 can, and does, install it's own version of Nvidia drivers.

Have you tried running the free program DDU? Use it in safe mode to uninstall the Nvidia drivers and it will, by default, set Windows to not install its own version.

Reboot and install your driver version of choice and you should be good to go.

^^Yep just run DDU in the process of installing the drivers you want, and it will auto disable Windoze from replacing gpu drivers.

Is there a manual to stop the updates for the nvidia drivers? I ran ddu and same two computers it happened again this week and this morning. So frustrating

ok I guess its all or nothing.. is there anyway to disable it just for the Nvidia drivers? I had found that but I am ok with it updating my other devices, but just want to disable it from the Nvidia drivers
