ok....be gentle ..lol.i want very good quality video capture on my computer in order to record to disk (i have cd and dvd burners).if i go with a tv-tuner card my choices are compro VideoMate TV Gold Plus ...or... compro VideoMate TV Ultra and thirdly the WinTV-PVR-250 by Hauppauge .
i read a boat lod of reviews and online forums on these cards and others to narrow my choice down to these.all get good and bad reviews..but mostly good for these 3.
my question is,if i used an s-vhs vcr and a seperate video capture card would i get better video results?i know dvd il 530 lines and svhs is 400 along with high8 video and regular tv is 330 if youre lucky.
if i go seperate capture card im thinking something by pinnacle or hauppauge,but im very open to suggestions there.
anyhow,am i thinking to much about this or rather over annayzling it? thanks for any and all comments.
