Seems like the TT Tide Water cools well on mid rang vide cards that OEM's are offering it as a standard cooler on some of their cards.

"X800GT Extreme: PowerColor X800 GT Xtreme Edition is the new generation of the award winning PowerColor X800 GT graphics card, based on R480 core technology which is with most advanced 160 million transistors on 0.13 low-k micro-fabrication process, core/memory clock speed up to 500/525MHz and with 256MB/256bit, advanced 1.6ns GDDR3 memory.

I saw that on the front page today. It must be doing something right if it's included on a retail vid card.

i would tend to say that it is the lowest common denomator, if it is included on a retail card.

of course, all of this is speculation, in the abscence of reputable reviews of the product.
