Trying to remember the name of a game...

I don't know why, but this game randomly popped into my head and I have no idea what it was called. Only some vague details:

It was a first person shooter, on PC at the very least. Took place in a sci-fi-ish setting and featured portals (perhaps even before Portal came out). I believe that your character was able to shrink too.

I seem to remember it having an arcade where you could actually play the games (game within a game kind of thing). But I might be confusing this particular fact with another game.

Anyone have any idea what I'm talking about?
 
That game was actually pretty good...sad the sequel never made it thru. Honestly it was the only single player pc game that stood out, guessing bc it was a new ip...
 
Prey was the one FPS that ever made me feel physically ill....

For obvious reasons heh
 
Yeah, I enjoyed playing through that game. Was one of the many games I played while I was deployed back in '07, hah.
