Triple Buffer for NFS:U

For those who want to use Triple Buffering with NFS(as it defaults to DB) go to your NFS:U folder, then the 3D setup folder. Go to the 3Dsetup.ini and look for TB_Button=0 and change the 0 to a 1. Now start up the 3dsetup.exe and click Triple Buffer on.

I havn't done much testing so I'm not sure if this actually works. Hmm maybe if EA didn't create PC games as an afterthought their games would be better...
 
It only matters if you use VSYNC with the game...

Otherwise just ignore this thread if you do not know what TB does.
 
I see. I have Vsync OFF at all times so that could be why it didnt really do anything.
 
I do use VSYNC but I don't know what triple buffering does. Anyone care to explain?
