Treyarch banned and later rescinded the ban on Florian 'DRUNKKZ3' Le Bihan; a DICE employee and Battlefield V Designer for presumably cheating. The former Fnatic team member exonerated himself by putting out a highlights video of him playing Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.

Please find attached to this tweet (below) a great video of me killing some other players on #BlackOps4. Accept this as a token of my appreciation towards your game (please unban).

Not saying anything.... But that's a lot of head shots. If I was playing against him, I would be calling something fishy as well. Some of the shots don't even make sense. Look at the 1:34 mark in the video. Where was the guy he even shot?

if you go frame by frame he kills the guy standing right next to him when he turns around.. this is one of the problems with doing a 60fps video when playing at 144 or even 240hz..

I remember these when on the CS 1.4-1.5 days lol, not cheating but the fast pace action, actually stuff like these are common, especially in our region(asia). kinda remembered this is the reason I quit fps games, haha

I will be point blank. Have a perfectly aligned head shot on my opponent with an MMR and nothing happens. They shot me with an MMR PB not even a head shot and I die (although does 100 DMG in BF at that range). Maybe the problem all along was COD netcode better than DICE's.

Play it back at one quarter speed like I had to. I was also like, "Whaaaaat?"

OOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOoooOOooh! I didn't even think of that! I just thought that he had superhuman reflexes and timing - although he probably still does. :)

This guy is amazing. I try to play with the same sniper exclusively, but my less than satisfactory reflexes leave me getting trashed more often than not.

It's a Youtube video, so you're not going to be able to be conclusive. But he is also a former pro. Those guys have training programs where they dial in their sensitivity and practice their aim constantly.

Black Ops 4 also has ridiculous hitboxes and lag compensation, so that just makes it look more ridiculous.

it's mostly just muscle memory to always bring your aim back to center after every shot.. back when i use to play CS 1.3-1.5 and TFC i always got banned/kicked out of servers for "aimbotting" but all i did was memorize exactly where their heads were going to be in relation to my character so it was pretty much an automatic headshot. sadly esports weren't really a thing 18 years ago here in the US. now i'm garbo at them and have the reaction time of a 90 year old but oh well.

Lot's of players online whine about "hackers".. all they gotta do is lose. Hey!, GoodBoy is hacking! Pretty lol that I have been accused of hacking.. This was in Star Wars Battlefront II, where some of the class abilities, grenade abilities let you and/or your teammates temporarily see where players are behind walls (Boba Fett's radar, Specialist binoculars), temporary aimbot (Finn, Lando too I think). Sometimes it seems to me like someone is cheating too, but after playing it long enough (almost daily since mid march), you get better. You know where the hiding spots are, the sniping spots. Plus, as you play and level your classes, you get weapon upgrades like nightvision, explosive secondary fire, and you just do better against lower level players. It's frustrating at first.

Watching that video, some of those it just looks like he knows where someone is going to pop up, or what they will run out from behind of. He's good. However the initial ban I am not going to hold against the game developer, and at least they made it right (hopefully they only ban with evidence of some kind...). Some people really do have insane reaction times, but that doesn't last much past mid 20's, before another 17 year old comes along that's fresh.

That's funny.
For those in amazement at what they just watched, it's as much knowing the map and engine as it is fast reflexes.
If you know the map, and the usual loitering locations and the "zone" where heads are usually found, it's relatively easy pickings.

Back in my CS days, I use to monitor for cheaters live on a network of servers, and more often than not I found players who turned them on and off as needed.
So this highlight reel means nothing to me, it doesn't prove he doesn't use cheats...just evidence of him probably not using an aimbot for those kills.
It's cherry picked video footage of him getting kills, and isn't the whole story.

This doesn't mean I believe he uses cheats, but I suspect everyone until proven otherwise. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Uh this is a none issue. Doubt they knew who the guy was and was banned like any other player would of been under the same circumstances.

This looks like he plays at 144hz+. Anyone at 60hz is gonna get wrecked.

I did something to try out the benefits of higher refresh rate:
1. Set my 240 Hz monitor to 60 Hz.
2. Play for a week.
3. Set my monitor to 240 Hz.
4. Notice the difference.

The difference is night and day in terms of game play. With no other settings changed, it's like installing widows on an SSD for the first time. When playing FPS, you need a higher refresh rate monitor to keep up with the competition.

Yeah Not cheating. As one astute person here pointed out COD has huge hit boxes and lag compensation you can basically shoot in the general direction of someones head at long range and score head shots. This guy clearly has put the time in his reflexes aren't really superhuman he just has put thousands of hours in and has taken the time to understand the game.

The problem is those deaths seem unfair (because they are ) from the point of the view of the person being shot because of COD's shit netcode so people report because it seems like cheating from their perspective.

How does are good but not pixel accurate. He sends to be a fast reflex shooter and the rest is cod and their very forgiving hit boxes. I literally stopped playing because it is so easy, arcade easy.

I'm more curious how they determined that he should be banned. Did they just ban him purely on stats and no evidence or anti-cheat results? Pretty bush league if you ask me.

It doesn't take much to get accused of hacking. Back in the heyday of Starsiege: Tribes (the first one) I had an alt named "IUseAutoAim" because it was funny.

It was a funny joke, because client-side autoaim wasn't possible (all the calculations were handled by the server, not clients.) So, a scripter put out an "Autoaim" script, that 'worked' by turning your character a random number of degrees, then looking up/down another random number, and then firing your selected gun. 110% fake.

I Still got accused so often of cheating because of that script.

Probably on user reports alone. I imagine that at least half of the people he killed reported him because the kill cam probably looked sketchy as fuck with the horrible ticrate.

Your right it doesn't take much to get accused of hacking because of some games [Battlefield series for one] are full of hackers . Some people forget that the new hacks are fully adjustable and a lot of hackers turn it on and off at will and give themselves extra health and unlimited ammo.

If you want to see a black and white difference that refresh rates can make, which are entirely client side and (usually) have nothing to do with server side calculations, check out https://www.testufo.com/

This. Obviously he's damned good, but for the most part he puts himself in a situation where he only needs to aim horizontally, he always snaps back and keeps the crosshair at head level. I used to read about people putting tape on their monitor to designate the height where the heads are at, not sure if that's still a thing. Don't see why not.

If someone plays only one game and that game has very limited vertical mobility, sure! :)

Game level design has come a long way since stories like that proliferated the internet, and heads are no longer as limited to lanes across your view like they use to be.
Sure, there are still angles and certain areas of a map where a player (and there head) won't usually be found, but take a game like Fortnite for example and try to apply the "where the heads are" logic, and it's out the window before you leave the bus!

A small dot from a dry erase marker is what I've always heard. Either way the noscope / quickscope crowd is pretty sweaty and damn annoying. It's a shame COD won't ever fix that shit.
