Original Save didn't work so I had to start over played the 1st area last night could of been from my motherboard switch. Got to the Safehouse or whatever you can get cosmetic upgrades and stuff. Halloween mode they have a food and Pumpkin thing going on didn't try it looks kooky.
A motherboard switch won't affect game saves.

Other parts is like why? I suppose they had to change it up.

Fear was more tactical and stealthy this game is in your face so adjust your FOV before you play and disable Vsync.

Then again I just completed the 2nd mission so the rest of the game might not be like this. I'm getting a new Vesa stand tomorrow hoping that can place my Oled back farther on my Desk a few inches might help. It's pretty far away right now maybe just over 2 feet.

I may as well try the demo at this rate. Are you all generally pretty happy with this for what it is?

Fanatical's Black Friday sale currently has this knocked down to $16.34, or 46% off, for the next 24 hours.

Started playing this game. Not liking it at all. Lighting and graphics suck ass. Stealth is almost impossible. No iron sights. Missions are whatever. Gunplay is where it is a huge let down. Guns don’t fire straight. All shots randomly fly anywhere they want. Once slow motion is engaged it is almost impossible to tell where the enemies are (first 2 missions were in the dark) and sparks flying around means you are hunting for your crosshair to turn red. Still bullets won’t fire straight.

I started at hard difficulty but for 3rd mission brought it down. I don’t think I will do any side missions. Game is just not fun for me.

I give it a 3 maybe 4 out of 10. Only good thing is it has only 6 main missions so should be an easy one and done type of affair. Should always trust myself with these things. Didn’t like the demo but bought it after reading Steam reviews and some mentions in random forums. Waste of time.

The original was the best by a mile. 2 was OK and 3 was ultimately a hollow, unsatisfying and forgettable experience.
Yeah this is pretty much my take.. FEAR1 was really good... man those office areas with the TPS reports and red staplers.. and animated PC displays with movable objects... the level design was great imo.. I loved that and still do... the expansions for FEAR1 (Extraction Point and Purseus Mandate) were also good I thought...not quite as good as the main campaign but close.... FEAR2 was cool, had it's moments, but nothing I re-play... the hosptial areas were not nearly as cool as the office areas from FEAR1.. Never finished FEAR3.

haven't tried Trepang 2 yet..

Weapon bloom is a pox on the shooter genre.

Yeah this game is not like Fear at all the slow motion and unaudible stuff is but the pacing of the game is really fast I'm using a controller a keyboard and mouse would be too hard for the avearge person due to the fast combat.
I wish it was slowed down and more tactical it's almost like Serious Sam at times.

New DLC Bladekisser dropped. Looks pretty tasty.

Includes:
  • 2 new missions: TF63 command center and Omega Facility
  • 9 combat simulator maps
  • 3 new weapons: sword, revolver, machine gun
  • 3 high-value targets
  • 10 new intel documents
I believe in one of the new missions you have to take down a nuclear submarine, which is a pretty sick setpiece.

Trailer is good stuff:

Yeah, but Ready or Not has completely different gameplay mechanics. They are almost like two separate subgenres or something, despite both being first person games. It's super weird but I suppose I can see how someone would vibe with one more than the other.

Well, i must have been asleep at the wheel because i had no friggin clue about this game. I just replayed FEAR last week and was on the steam boards for Q/A, and this game came up. Heard about a demo, played it last night. All in. Yeah graphics aren't the best and yes reminds me of FEAR, but for 20 bucks, yes.

Quick update. The full version of the game is a bit harder than the demo. Playing on normal, having a bit of a tougher time, which isn't a bad thing. Few graphical enhancements i guess with DLSS and a couple other items.

Overall, yes 20 bucks is worth it in my opinion
