Touch Pro (Fuze) screen flashing

I am on my second AT&T Fuze, the first one had this issue I am going to talk about plus more so I was able to get a replacement. When I got the new phone things felt much better, until about two weeks ago when this problem began again. I could leave my phone sitting there, no alerts, no reminders, and the screen would just turn on then off again. I noticed a week after this that when the screen pops on I cannot actually do anything, it is as if the screens light just turned on but not the touch portion of the screen.

Anyone else have this issue or problem? I am probably out of my 30 days with AT&T, and I really like this phone minus this one issue. Not a major one, but I do think it drains my battery, as sometimes the screen can pop on for almost a minute before going off.

My Fuze is sitting on my desk here and I've never had this issue.

Have you tried adjusting the screen settings with a TouchFlo3D program?

Do you have the handset plugged into USB? It could be your computer and handset interfacing while plugged in?

Are you running a custom ROM? How about installed programs that might be running in the background?
