I need some help. I have a ASUS A7N266-C board running Windows XP Home Edition SR 1.
In the Device Manager under Display adapter I have the following two entries.
DISPLAY ADAPTER
Matrox Graphic Mystique PCI
NVIDA GeForce 2 Integrated GPU (Microsoft Corporation)

I do in fact have the Matrox PCI card installed in this system. HOW do I get rid of the NVIDA DRIVER contining to reload every time I boot up.

Go into the BIOS of the computer before it boots into windows. You usually do this by pressing F2, Del, or some other key while the computer is just powering on. Often, as the computer powers up, it will say something to the effect of "Press F2 for setup". . . if you have just a big logo or something while the computer powers up, press the ESC key so that you can see the garbage that is usually displayed during boot-up and power-on-self-test (POST).

You should be able to disable the integrated video card in the BIOS.

Thanks for your response. I was able to go into the DEVICE MGR and DISABLE the NVida Driver. Every time I removed it, Windows would re-install. I could not find a SETTING in the BIOS to disable the AGP slot. Again thanks for your response and help.
