I got a LC-32GP3U and a 2408wfp (when it arrives) for dual display, and I started to ponder about if this dual setup could be altered.

I know that with only room for 1 card, I cannot possibly opt the 3007wfp route, so that I am limited to driving 2x 1920x1080 /1920x1200. Basically, the combination of 2408wfp and the 1080p HDTV is pretty much all I can drive.

I thought about the Hanns-G, but the TN display suffers some mechanical issues and I can't live with TN at this large a size. That's partly why I am going 2408wfp as a secondary display.

If I move to get another one of these LC-32GP3U, it'd be a move from S-PVA Dell to the ASV Sharp, and a HDTV isn't as portable as that monitor, but it'll be matching in resolution. On the other hand, the 2408wfp can be rotated to portrait orientation when required, making it very useful as a readout.

General usage of my rig is multimedia/word processing/work 60%, gaming 25% and then design 15% , in that order. Color reproduction isn't critical, but black level and eye strain level are. Currently on 1x GTX 260.

You can run two 3007wfp with one GTX 260. Dual-link DVI doesn't mean 2 DVI's. GTX 260 has 2 dual-link DVI's.

O, so it's not just one. silly me, thank you for correction. Although... this rig is only an am2 5000+ setup though. 2560x1600 casual gaming would be seriously overdoing it... :(
