Hey all. Just wanted to show you kids my new toy. It's a Fujitsu P1120 Lifebook. I've been waiting for the cash to purchase this machine for about two years now, and since then I got a Libretto 70 to try out to make sure an ultraportable keyboard would be good enough to type on. Even though the P1120 is a three or more year old machine it's still sold NEW in 2005. Get them while you can, because they have been discontinued so whatever stock is left right now in retail is what you get. Resale on these puppies is unbelievable- most nice ones sell for $800 used! They are $1000 now at Newegg and other disbributors may also have specials on them.
Specs aren't the greatest, but as a power user, it doesn't matter to me.It's by far the fastest laptop I've had yet. Touchscreen (yes, you heard that right) kicks major tushy in pr0n-land. :D Check it out:

Nope, and nope!
It's a parking lot in Revere, Massachusetts for a tanning salon. Don't need to look for porn while looking at real women!!!! ;)

Once again you creap me out... your sitting in your car raving about how your touch screen is great for porn, then proceed to say your watching women coming out of a tanning salon?

I was thinking of that and the MM20 above as well, but this thing is smaller. The smaller the better IMO. Keyboard isn't too small either, surprisingly. I'm using it now! I am in love!

Hey I live in Revere, MA. What's the name of the salon?

On topic, I've been playing around with a Thinkpad X41 at work. It's pretty nice, small and compact.

It's the one across the street from the car wash, at the rotary of 107. I'm parked there alot in a rental truck. The tux place is in the same lot. Hopefully it's not you I'm ganking internet access from! LOL....

I have had one of them for almost a year now. Great little toys. Only trouble is my fingers are a tad too big for the keyboard :(

I've spent over 2 years on an X30 or X31...

I just bought a 700m for my brother...and now I want another ultraportable.

Dammit those things are addictive.

if I could just decide to be happy with my Ferrari as far as gaming goes, I'd sell off my 7800GTX, get an X300 for the server, and look into another ultraportable.

*sigh*

I just got my first ultraportable a couple weeks ago (Latitude X1) and I'm pretty happy with it. The screen could use to be brighter and have a more even backlight, but the keyboard is large and the machine is reasonably fast. Best of all, I'm pretty sure it's still under 3 lbs with the extended battery. *win*

i use a averatec 3150, 12.1, sempron 2800, 80g hd.. 4.1 lbs...

love this laptop, i've used different 31xx series laptops for about a year and a half and i've had nothing but good experiences with them. they are definately less quality than the other units you guys are talking about but for the rough and tumble life they have with me they are good enough. in fact im typing this right now at 65 mph on mine, using verizon evdo servvice in atlanta.. love'n it!
