Last time I jumped on a pile of fans that were free AR, the rebate was declined.

Better idea. Spend the full price on better fans, and be happy that you got what you paid for, and don't have to wait 6 months for a rebate that may, or may not ever come.

I recently had a good experience with TG rebates. I got a 1TB hard drive for $69 before a $20 rebate and received the rebate in less than 2 weeks.
