So we all know the limitations of Sandy Bridge in the SLI dept. Lacking pci lanes and needing nf200 bridge chip to be able to do anything more than dual gpus without saturating bandwidth.Ive been trying to find an article/review that shows how limiting this might be when compared to the x58 platform when using tri sli. Even though they use GB X58-UD9 which uses dual (if memory serves) nf bridges, still I think this might be useful to some. I was able to find one directly comparing the two in tri-sli config using gtx 570's which I guess is ok, but id like to see 580. Anyway I though you guys might want to check it out. Im surprised there arent more articles like this is several people who are upgrading are trying to decide (me included) whether to wait for the highend z68 chipset or go with SB or maybe go with x58/bloom. Maybe this will help some of you with your research and ultimately your decision. Peace

Good read. Thanks for the link.

We've been through this cycle a few times now, can't say I'm surprised.
