Anyway, nothing happened. The blinkenlights didn't even change pattern. (Well, OK, one thing happened: iCue isn't reporting on the device any more. Hopefully it'll come back after a reboot.

Also, nothing ejected through my tempered glass, so there's that.

Haha just close iCue and reload. My iCue just for fans, keyboard, mouse and LED strips fails once in a while, just reload and all is well.
 
Lol I love that you actually tried it.
Had a few weird devices like that in past which were ominous but uneventful.
