This LEGO graphics card might be our best chance of getting a new GPU this year

This is kinda cool. 3dfx voodoo lego

"If you head over to the LEGO Ideas page you can actually vote for the 3Dfx Voodoo to be made into a real LEGO set. You just need 10,000 votes to get it considered, only another 9,900 to go!

It's probably going to be a while before we get another new graphics card launch, and there's nothing we can do about that. Jen-Hsun has announced that Nvidia is holding back any shiny GTC announcements until there are less important things going on, and the postponement of Computex means we might lose the AMD Big Navi June release too. But this is one graphics card that we might actually be able to help get made."

Needs to be bigger and more complex, this looks like a kit for kids, who were born 20 years after this card was a thing.
To be interesting to those who actually played games on a Voodoo, it needs to have 10.000 parts at least :D

Yea, way too simple. It looks like it would take maybe 10 min to make.

Intel would like to point out that their UHD 630 beats this card in every benchmark and often comes with your CPU choice.

However TechPowerDown fact checked this and pointed out the Lego's superior power consumption, modularity and ease of component replacement. "This board works in every Lego system we tried."

Intel countered that Lego Duplo will not accept the board without an adapter though and noted that Lego computers are not popular.

Fake laugh, real wallet pain.

And it will still run Glide more efficiently than any other GPU/API.
