They have a few damn cheap things on there, shipping is a bit killer though...

I bought thermal probes from them for replacement in my Cooler Master Aquagate. They work great and did usps first class shipping. was quick and cheap.

Yea prices in general are pretty good. Too bad there isn't anything I like from thermaltake...

Tai Chi case looks alright. Wonder if it comes with the watercooling.

Not likely. The picture is of a non-WC version.

I'm tempted to pick up a Rocket water-cooler. Looks like TT's knock-off of the Reserator. Only thing is the pump... think I should swap in a D-Tek DB-1 inline and call it a day?

Edit:
My credit card company loves me. :( Two Rockets and two Blorb2's, $205 including $45 in shipping. Carries a 90 day warranty, so I'll hold off with the DB-1 for a bit.
Tempted to throw an MCW-60 on my AIW X1900 and see how the Rocket copes. :p

I ordered a Kandalf LCS from their clearance for $129 and received it yesterday, it looks new. Everything came package very well. no scratches or dents. New bottles of green coolant, and green tubing. The water block looks like its never been mounted. window even has the plastic protective film still on it.

I am happy with their clearance sale so far, their policy scared me a little, but I bite anyways and its been a good experience..

No more Big Typhoons. :(

A bit OT: What heatsink would you reccomend for socket A out of the lot? (Exclude BT)

Probably a stupid question, but,
UPS ground = $10
UPS worldwide = $2
That doesn't make sense to me, but could I use the worldwide method if I'm in the US? I was only looking to get a socket A cooler or two anyway.

I'm interested in the Tai-Chi Chassis... but the picture doesnt show the watercooling system that comes standard, and the fact that it just says Chassis makes me think there might not be the WC system inside at all :(

way to confirm?

I bit on the black Armor w/clear window... I hope its the model with the fan in the window :) ... lowest the egg got an armor for is 139 (after a 30mir) and roughly $20 for shipping make it 160... where as this one only cost me $108.43 for the case and shipping. Very nice prices on this clearance :) ... especially if you ever wanted one of those $400 Tai-Chi setups you could now have for $129 :) .. thought that was pretty hardcore :)

I bit on the tai chi for my server. My old Lian Li PC-60 needs to go. Seemed like a decent deal to me.

I almost did too... but the 20kg weight kinda killed it for me, as I haul mines around to LANs... but it really could have been some serious bling... was a hard decision. Like wearing 20lb of gold around your neck or not when you hit the clubs :) Heck, put in some Pentium Ds and turn on 3DMark with that Tai-Chi case and you got yourself one heck of an entertaining heater unit!

Also, the 120mm case fans (TT-1225) are, unless I'm mistaken, the pretty awesome quiet fans they used on the original TTBT. They're supposed to be really good for the noise they put out. $5 apiece...

edit: Yeah, it is. Basically a slightly faster Nexus.

The Nexus fans are rebadged Yate-Loons with an added resistor. You can buy the Yate-Loons at http://www.jab-tech.com/YATE-LOON-120mm-Case-Fan-D12SL-12-pr-3009.html for $3 each when you buy 3.

Ordered an Armor + Hardcano 10....shipping was 3$ to Montreal Canada. Yes 3$.

Something sounds fishy but I bit. If they bump the shipping charges i'll probably cancel.

Anyone gotten tracking info, or confirmation emails, or anything yet? I'm trying to find some way to contact them besides email...

I had zero anything aside from the order confirmation from them... no shipping notification.

However, I ordered on Thursday evening last week, and recieved the stuff via UPS ground today alongside something from Newegg that was shipped 3-day UPS on Friday (4th of July threw things off a day). They just didn't email me a tracking number or anything. :) It feels like their shipping IS timely, though.

Yeah, I gave up and emailed them. Really good CS, I had a response with three separate tracking numbers ( ) within an hour! :)

this place has awesome CS... I talked to a live person every time that I've called so far and i called like half dozen times for all sorts of stuff... I even know several by name and just talk to the operator to forward me to each person for diff reasons... I'm impressed :)
