Thermaltake Core P100 Pedestal Extension Review - The Thermaltake Core P100 Pedestal is an expansion part for the Thermaltake W100 full tower case previously reviewed here. What the P100 does is give you the ability to expand you cooling system's ability or give you space for extra storage among other things into an entirely self-contained unit below the W100 chassis.

This reminds me of the Asetek Vapochill LS phase change units of the early 2000's.

Nice to see TT using original design ideas to bring new products to market.

I guess a mass production version of a Caselabs case and pedestal is "original" ;)

Quick question: What's the thickness of the metal? Thank you for the excellent review!

didn't read the review but aren't their caselabs ripoffs made from steel? can't imagine how heavy these are if that's the case

I like the idea of something modular like this.

If Corsair made one for the 750D I'd probably be interested (but hey, if they did, something like this would probably only be made for the 900D)

That being said, $119 is more than the average amount I spend on entire cases, just for a base, and on top of that, you have to assemble it yourself?

It seems like a little bit of a cash grab from those who are running out of space in their cases.

It's almost the same as my CM HAF 935.

Anyone know if there are any universal case pedestals that can be used with all/most medium or full tower cases?
