Which begs the question, who is this PC update aim for? Someone with a 3090 or above which would more likely be pushing 4k. Or below a 3090 more like 1440p and even 1080p. What GPU is needed to run this game well with RT on at each 1080p, 1440p and 4K resolutions using all the upsampling tricks? Someone buying a 4090 for 240hz or 360hz monitor for game play at 1440p or even 1080p may not like sub 100fps game play is another thought. What it does do well, intentionally or not is show DLSS 3 benefits on a 7 year old and now very restrictive CPU title. Turning RT off on this title does not even comes close to the fps that the older version would perform, which is another oddity I find.I never thought that game will be ever used has an example of smart optimization for performance:

Add to this the fact that the game cannot take full advantage of modern-day CPUs, and you got yourself an unoptimized mess with RT enabled. Therefore, and at this point, we suggest avoiding Ray Tracing like the plague, even if you own high-end CPUs and GPUs.

Goes to 73 fps to 41 (44% drop) and 62 to 38 (38% drop) in the 2 scene they tried, is that significantly different than Metro, Control or Cyberpunk RT ?
