The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings ann.

Still have to finish the first one...:(

Same here, I never really played it far enough to get into it. I got to the point where some chick wanted to meet me behind the mill at midnight, then got depressed when she wasn't there.

I don't think I could get into it if the game is that realistic :(

She turns up, just have to get there at the right time.

However, not really worth it just for another conquest.

On the trailer. I am glad the voice acting is the same, was great quality in the first one.

I am not keen that, even though on slightly they have changed the look of geralt. They have made him look like vezemir.

Of course continuing the existing timeline will be good as I thought maybe they may have jumped somewhere else.

Can't wait for it to be closer to release. I'm sooooo going to reinstall and get a playthrough using the enhanced edition. One of the few games that made me call in sick to work!! :p

He does seem to have a lost of bit of character and become a lot more bland and generic in that trailer. If it wasn't for the white hair you'd hardly know it was him. Which is a shame.

Still, more Witcher, I'm not arguing with that.

CDP will make a press conference on Thursday announcing all the Witcher 2 details... will get it translated for ya :)

He is a god damn witcher, of course he recovers health, sure it was exagerated in the game but he is a witcher. They heal quick.

Looks like they gave Geralt a bit of a tan?

Either way, really looking forward to this, loved the first one. Hope it's out soon!

wonder why they made Geralt look more friendlier

haven't finished Witcher 1, but will probably get Witcher 2 eventually

i need to get back into the witcher... i got as far as... well all i can remember is the sexy hot forest nymph j/k lol :D

I believe originally it was meant to be used in the over head views but they added in the over the shoulder later, not sure though. I felt it played fine on the PC, don't use controllers so can't imagine why it would have been better.

The PC exclusive news sucks. I thought the Witcher played pretty poorly on a keyboard and would have been better suited to console controllers.

 Played perfectly with mouse and keyboard, in fact I'd say a controller would have been less effective.

Shame on you! We finally get a game in the past few years that's PC only and you complain! :p

Witcher was mad fun. specially on nightmare difficulty. Brewing potions and getting OD'ed on some strange unknown brewed stuff while chopping off ghoul's limbs was tons of hours wasted. Then getting laid with some nuns, pagan deities and vampires, what more can you ask for in a game???

You know you can hook up a 360 controller to your PC, right? You can assign custom buttons and move the cursor with the analog stick.

No offense but I think your full of shit. Plays fine for me, I have complete control , the vertical and the horizontal. Oh and heaven forbid we PC users get a exclusive game these days.

lol except getting laid meant getting a playing card??? Maybe with games like heavy rain taking a chance and having very graphic nudity, they'll take the plunge too... i mean... if you can attract a new crowd.. such as the porn addicts crowd... why not? ;)

PC exclusive, even if it's for now, is great news, because it means they'll only port it to consoles later on and not design the game around them in mind.

WTF does this mean? I've never seen anyone pull out "the vertical and the horizontal" :p

And yeah I think The Witcher played pretty poorly for a 3rd person game. I think the controls and stance switches would have been much better suited to a controller. It is not a twitch reflex game by any means.

Anyone else love the gambling game in the witcher? I forget what it was called, but I think having one of those little folding dice boards would be awesome.

I borrowed the Witcher from a friend of mine when around it first came out. Never finished it.

I'm a little confused about the different versions of the game.

I want the full FULL version, and not the hack'd up version. I want to experience everything.

Which one do I get?

lol, i suppose a good amount of people that purchased the witcher still halfway finished (that includes me)...

I remember the time i decided to get it it was the enhanced edition and there was quite a handful of games released a week after that, and they're easier to get into, at least compared to The Witcher that time.

I'm going to finish the game some time this year... hopefully.

Which one do I get?

I think The Enhanced Edition is what you're looking for.

No pleasing some people, a PC exclusive is bloody good news indeed.

The first Witcher was bloody painful to play. The combat system was absolutely dreadful and unenjoyable. Then there is the writing of the game which is plain terrible: the characters keep on talking forever without getting to the freaking point. Man, going through a root canal is probably less painful than sitting down and listening to all those pointless dialogues.

I think the only reason why so many people picked up the game was because they could shag a bunch of whores or prostitutes. But even then, you don't see any action beside a sex card. It's worse than a softcore porn.

Somebody get a garden hose, a 12 volt battery and some jumper cables.;)

Seriously. If they put this game on the console they would have to sanitize it which would kill the game.

More PC exclusive games sounds good to me. I am tried of my gaming content being limited by what Microsoft and Sony think is appropriate.
