The "print selected text" doesn't show in word.

After installing Office 2003, I can't print the selected text in word.
It's very weird, the printing interface changed totally. It happens in outlook also.

I reinstalled Office 2000 and the problem persists. Any clues?

What exactly do you mean by this? Is the button for selection missing from the 'Print' dialog box?

Nope, when I enter the print dialogue, I have the "print the whole text" menu item, but not the "print selected text" menu item.

Do you have some text selected when you open the print dialog?
 
Actually, this just happens with Outlook. The regular Outlook. Outlook express, Word, Excel, etc, works just fine. I got my head mixed up :p

And no, the mail is not a protected document of any sort.
 
Are you opening the email, or are you just printing when it's selected in the header listing?

Outlook has minimal options when printing from the mail listing (you can't even change printers).

You have to open the email and print from that window to have full options.

No, I don't know why they designed it that way :)
