I recently swapped my old trusty i3 550 for an i7 2600K with beautiful sabertooth p67. Everything wrapped into Fractal Design Core 3000 front panel of which i've modded few weeks ago.

@Badmau5...i'd say what you have there is...flawless. great build!
thank you kindly. I think your build is exceptional as well. Looks very special, you can actually see how much work and passion you've put in it.

@Badmau5, how did you set up the cabling from your power supply? It looks awesome!
well all psu cables are hidden behind the motherboard tray, ive also used single braid sleeved nzxt extensions.

Also i've sleeved all front panel cables:

That sabertooth is sweet looking (realizing you put a ton of work into it...hope I don't kick myself in the butt for not looking at that one before buying.

Nice build!

@BadmAu5. Great build there, very clean. Can you tell me what CPU cooler that is?

Thanx guys! Good to hear that people actually like my rig :D

The cooler is scythe big shuriken with enermax vegas duo installed instead of scythe stock fan.

Great, thanks a lot, really appreciate it. I'm looking for a low height cooler and liked the look of this one, time to check some reviews. :)

They have just released new version of big shuriken - it has 5 heatpipes instead of 4 and it is mounting with a screws now instead of push pins. I got older version and its a pain to install. U might want to take a look at Cooler Master Geminii S and Geminii S524. Those are a bit taller but perform better and give you more clearance for ram.

Thanks. Yes I saw there's a new Big Shuriken, couldn't find any reviews yet though but I'm in no immediate hurry so I can wait until they're out. Will check out your other suggestion as well.
Have my eye at the Noctua NH-C14 too, it sports some good numbers but I'm not that thrilled about the brown fans so those have to go.

Anyway, we went a bit of topic here so we better stop before we bring down the wrath of the powers that be (aka moderators). :)

48GB, might as well!

nah, see what you need to do is get an all out server board and load it up with like 1 TB of ram. or better yet, just go buy a Dell PowerEdge R910 fully loaded ^_^

haha, just kidding. but seriously though, super jealous. I can't wait to see it fully built.

Obviously he is proud of his setup and his room. Say something good if you have to say something when you're not supposed to.

Looks good man. I've got stuffed animals on my desk from my kids. Mickey Mouse is cool too, right.

Here's how my main rig is sitting right now. Just waiting on the sleeving to show up. Having to use the laptop for most everything sucks right now.

Here's the backup rig which is doubling as the server right now while the main rig is down. When the main rig is back up I'll be taking it down for an upgrade as well.

Installing my new Frio from Thermaltake in my Armor+ MX,

Thermaltake was kind enough to sponsor me and provide me the parts for my upgrade.

The Thermaltake Frio I can't say enough good things about, immediately my temps dropped and have stayed there and it's the perfect compliment to my Armor+ case.
