That was a massive SR2 case the guy did for someone. Nice isn't it?

Correct, he built it for a customer and he is said to do SR2 setups in it with a massive amount of water cooling. there is a build log here on [H] on the case.

I wish to see it but it didn't sound like we ever will :(

PS: Comments are cool... .mmmmK

For 2011, I ventured into the world of watercooling. I bought some used parts off a buddy(which is how it likely starts for alot of people). As of right now, I've only cooled the cpu. I plan on Watercooling the GPU's when I can scrounge up $350 dollars to blow on that side of the spectrum. Anyways, here's the rundown;

Rig:
Corsair 600t case
AMD 1090t @3.2(for now)
ASUS Crosshair IV Formula
2 x 2gb Corsair Dominator DDR3 1600 (8-8-8-24)
2x XFX HD 6950's in Crossfire @stock 6950 clocks
Corsair AX850 PSU
OCZ Vertex 2 120gb SSD(boot)
Western Digital Caviar Black 1tb(data)
Western Digital Caviar SE 500gb(backup)
Sony Optiarc DVDRW

Cooling:
Swiftech MCP220, 2 x 240mm Radiator
Swiftech D5 Pump
Swiftech MicroReservoir
EK Supreme HF Black/Acetal CPU Block
Primochill 1/2" ID Red Tubing
3 x 120mm fans
1 x 200mm fan(stock corsair)

Future Upgrades:

EK HD6950/70 Black/Acetal GPU Waterblocks
200mm Phobya Xtreme Radiator(if I keep the 600t)
More tubing
Eyefinity (3x ASUS VH236H Screens)

You've been here 10 years, yet you just quoted all of his pictures and posted a comment in a no comments thread. Guys, look at the title.

edit: Yeah I know i'm commenting too.

True. I got so excited by seeing it, I just hit reply and typed away. I forget sometimes.

Amazing. What is that contraption you've attached to the false bottom, is that a super slim radiator of your/his own design? And how did you/he connect the GPU blocks? Doesn't look like you/he used the crystal links.

Also, I take it your sig is out of date? ;)
Unfortunately,as i stated,it doesn't belong to me lol.
And did you refer to this one?

As far as i know,he connected all the GPU blocks together through these fittings. The crystal link above GPU blocks is used to connect to the slim metal plate above.

2 CPUs & 3 GPUs through one 1x120 radiator?

That is the cleanest WC setup I have seen. Just gorgeous work

So does that metal slim plate function as a pseudo-radiator, or is it just there because there was no more room to route tubing behind the third card?

Only company that does something to address that, AFAIK, is EK, but its Tri-GPU bridge only works with EK blocks.

In his log,he refered that metal plate as 'water-routing plate' but i think it acts as part of a slim radiator as well.

new setup

You have got to love the way this case lets you hide all of the wires

Ah, gotta love the old Wavemaster. Used to own one myself that someone had pre-modded with side and top blowhole. The side blowhole seriously tamed the CPU temperatures, was quite impressive.

The 2nd pic was taken when i plug the DVD drive in to install the drivers, now it's looked more clean as the unused wires were fit into the ODD bay.

Nice setup aus1095. What kind of case do you have?

Thank you, corsair 600T getting the side panel this friday ill post some pics of the case with it on. I know a lot of people didnt like the case because there wasnt a side panel. It's such a good case and the side panel should make it even better...

Thought I would post my first watercooling build before I go and dismantle/upgrade it.
