I didn't notice this before, but the motherboard in question has two PCIe x16 slots, so you could fit two GPUs in there, provided at least one of them has a single-slot cooler. It is limited to 667MHz DDR2, however.

Today's ad has the same combo (deal still good through tomorrow), and it appears to be this motherboard (which indeed has two PCIe x16 slots) rather than this one (which has a nearly-identical name, but has a higher FSB and only one PCIe x16 slot)

EDIT: from the ECS website, there are two versions of the 945GCT-M (besides the /1333 version). Version 1.0 has the two PCIe x16 slots, while version 2.0 has one PCIe x16 and one PCIe x1. The Fry's ad includes a picture of the v1.0 board, so I would assume that's the one you'll get. Make sure you check which version you have in the store before you buy it.
 
I have no ideer if this is "old" news, "new" news or just not important news. I do know it caught my attention. Just scroll down to the 8800 GS. I put it in my cart for the "heck" of it and with shipping it comes to ~$84.00 bucks (no frickin', old, tired, MIR crap) :eek:

I've noticed that on a couple of the dual slot cooler cards (one of the 8800GT flavors as well). But @ 50 bux, does it really matter? ;)
