The Official Core 2 OverClocking Database *READ 1st Post for Instructions*

Where can I get that information from... I see that other people are already in the database without that same information... How did that happen?

its on your box the CPU came in, or on the IHS itself.

Thanks :D

My case is well ventilated, and the tuniq is a very good cooler. It gives me wonderful temperatures :)

Theres another person on 3.7GHz with air, whos also using the tuniq :)

This baby does 3200Mhz at only 1.9V real ;) My ram is almost burned and don't boot at above 1.9V. She is 1x1GB Patriot 6400LL and that is the max of it at that voltage (elpida chips). Good CPU?

my chip is virtually the same when ocing, I will try and see if i can get up to around 3.64 myself.

For the 1000x time, lvlarvin's result is fake in the E6600 database.

He cant even run 3dmark over 3.6ghz...

Hausner's was even edited in photoshop, and the color is all off....Come on...

A d o b e P h o t o s h o p 7 . 0
You do not need to use photoshop to resize or save a screen capture...use mspaint for god's sake...

When Hausner comes in here and show's me Pi 32m single/3dmark @ 4300 and Dual 32m @ 4200+, 8m/3dmark @ 4400+ and 1m @ 4450 then I might care to believe him.

My x6800 can only orthos 3.8, yet it can pass 3dmark @ 4100+... If you are orthosing 4100+ then do the math...

well the requirements are 4hours+ in prime or orothos and proof.. showing pics and also a cpu-z link or pic... i didnt add lvlarvin there.. i just took over this db... so i would have to go back old threads to such on what he posted.... thanks for your concern...

wow nice oc man, Yeah once I am done moving all my stuff to my new case I am going to push it up to 3.6 or higher. Honestly though i think 3.4ghz is a good speed for this chip, cant complain with a 1.266 ghz overclock!

wdn, those temperatures are absolutely sick for that voltage! Nice overclock.

@FHPCHRIS,

Dude I too felt that the results given by the guy were untrue but after arguing I saw that it wasn't worth it , before that I had the highest overclock on air and I use the scythe infinity .

People saw I was jealous but I wasn't but wanted to see how he did it. I am using the same board as he is and I think its the worst board I have purchased. Anyway after I gave up with the guy and I found him rude when we asked from him something he owed to us which was proof.

I think the overclock is right but its watercooled and he submitted by saying he used HSF.

Anyway i reflected on this later and I let it go cos it wasn't worth it.

Also he has not stood up for himself which made the matter worse. Its just fair on everyone that people show real results and sufficient proof for the overclocks they submit.

We see patterns and what is expected from a certain so and so component , also the results should reflect this . Now this said lvlarvin did not do this at the time.

This said let the guy be , I lost my overall place at the top on Air because of him but if it made the place more aware of things like this in the future and that it doesnt happen again its good enough.

It was sad that Mentok left his work because of the guy, it was his work and dedication and people should take that in mind and be serious about what they submit.

There are a lot of people putting the time and hard work to get the clocks they get and we should all respect that and not cheat.

If its right, why did he edit/open the picture in photoshop.. why are some of the colors wrong in the picture...

I didnt call that 4.1ghz crap out before, but yes... I am calling it out as fake(clearly so on air, unless he lives in alaska or something) now.

look forward to seeing your overclock. Wish you the best.

I got the same scores for my 8800gtx , we need some dx10 games for that card.
