Here's an update to my previous overclock (got to 4GHz before). My first Biostar board was faulty (kept getting 9A error code) so instead of doing an RMA I just went back to Microcenter and exchanged it. I also picked up some OCZ PC8500 4GB RAM for only $39! Here are the new results and it only involved upping my CPU volts by +0.150, upping my FSB to 533, using 8x multiplier and changing FSB(bsel) to 1333. Everything else is at stock. That's all I had to do to get 4.269GHz! I can probably get it higher because the RAM hasn't even been stressed at these settings.

Hi Guys,
I'm in the process of replacing my E6600 (mild 3.2 Ghz O/Clock) with an E8600. Did a search of the thread and only had 3 minor hits on the E8600. New ram and graphics card are going in as well. That's all for now budget exhausted!

Anyone overclocked this unit yet?
