Resized -- original size is 1680x1050. This is the setup I've been running on my laptop for quite some time; all that changes with any regularity is the background. Once upon a time I'd use an editor and replace all the icons for the systray apps and the quicklaunch, but I stopped being quite so crazy about it. (Once I went through and edited every line of text in IE 6 to be completely lower-case and deleted all the menus I didn't actually use, just to fit with a theme I was running at the time....)

The Beautiful Bar Rafaeli and Portable Apps. Of course the Portable Apps hides when I'm not using it too, so don't really even pay attention to that (not that you could! :D).

Can you share that wallpaper please??

Also, where did you find those widgets, or are they part of Vista??

widgets, here

Here is the wallpaper in full res:

Object Dock is at the bottom (and hidden on the side and top, as I mentioned).

Update time!

I don't remember if I posted my new Linux (Ubuntu 7.10) desktop here, so here it goes!

1920x1200 on Dell Vostro laptop, running Ubuntu 7.10 Gutsy Gibbon, kernel 2.6.22-14-rt, GNOME 2.20.1

1600x1200 to a 22" WS really isn't worthwhile. If you aren't moving up in res there's really no reason.
I'm not upgrading for the resolution though, the text on this CRT is terribly blurry and it randomly flickers. Just old and worn out.
