Just a mix of two Rainmeter themes. Glad u like!

Both themes are very easy to work with as far as customizing what you want them to look like and what not. Had to work a lot with the light splitter background skin to get it to act right with two different aspect ratios (I use a 4:3 monitor at work but native screen for laptop is 16:9.) Still modding though b/c current setup is still not ideal.

Here is my good old XP desktop at work, I am definitely a fan of minimalist desktops. The only icons I use are in quick launch anyway!

I do like your desktop a lot Adderol!

yeah it took me a while to get this config the way i liked it. I still feel like its a little too busy sometimes but I use everything on the desktop (ok so the bandwidth meter isn't really "used" I just think its cool)
 
I'll bet it did, I'll have to give Win 7 a whirl one of these days. Probably when i upgrade that ancient desktop in my sig, lol. It does alright for 720p or less htpc.

i like the look, now to remember what all needs to be done to change to a 3rd party theme :D
 
Found this Batman wallpaper a few weeks ago. I usually swap out my wallpaper every few days just for a change of scenery but this one I cant bring myself to get rid of.

Yea it's just part of the theme to hide/show taskbar icons. There's also a similar switch within the start menu.

You usually have to also replace the explorerframe.dll file in system32 with the specific one that comes with every theme. I forget if you have ownership by default or not but look into 'Take Ownership' if you're having problems with the file. .BAK the original one and just drop the new one in.

thanks man, i think i had issues with not doing explorerframe.dll correctly previous times....thats what i figured the switch was for as well
