Hi,

What are the most special 8GB modules?
Are there any secret 8GB modules like the 4GB Samsung MV-3V4G3D?

Are there any 8GB modules, even non cheap, that can manage to do...
2400 @ C11
1600 @ C8
Which sticks come the closest?

Would like to know about some tradeoff modules...
Can do 2400, but only manages 1600 @ C9?
Can do 1600 @ C8, but only manages 2133?

Are there any damn good 8GB modules?

EDIT:
I have found the answer is G.Skill TridentX series, with 8 GB modules supporting 2400 pre-overclock.
But please still post other recommendations too, because the G.Skills are expensive.
The Samsungs mentioned originally were secretly cheap. It would be good to know of 8GB sticks like that.

Thanks!

I am running 16gb of Crucial Ballistix Sport (the 1.35v VLP stuff) @ 2133mhz CL11, 1.65v

It can maybe do more, honestly the only thing I did was put it in my motherboard with my Samsung 1.35v ram, did not try tweaking it at all.

(I am running 16gb Crucial + 8gb Samsung until I get more Crucial)

I have some GSkill 4GB 1600MHz CL6 RipjawsX DDR3, but you cant buy it now.
I replaced it with Kingston 2400MHz CL11 HyperX DDR3 and it made no difference at all to gaming performance on a clocked 2500K system.
In case thats helpful.
