The Looking Glass gets even better by upping their gaming to 8K rez

Wow an 8K resolution monitor like this must be a wonderful look into 3D's future.

I watched this video when LTT released it. "Upping their gaming"? If you watched the video, you realize this is a long way from a reasonably priced consumer device being able to play normal games. It requires somwhere in the order of 25-50x the processing of a normal display at a similar res to display a picture (and you thought the 2x processing of VR was tough).

Welp - we're getting 64 core threadrippers in few weeks...Just need some more gpu horsepower to go with it.

I'm hoping the Nvidia ampere rumors are true. A gpu like that would big help for this monitor.
Also it helps that The looking glass has a new plugin for the unreal engine.
